Bangkok, Bangkok: Indian boxer Pawan Bertwal continued his brilliant form and entered the fourth Thailand Open International boxing tournament with a brilliant win over Cambodia’s Sao Rangse on Sunday. This information was given by the Indian Boxing Federation.

India has launched a 19 -member strong party in this prestigious boxing tournament organized under the aegis of the World Boxing -backed Asian institution, which includes talented boxers of powerful countries like China, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, South Korea and Host Thailand.

Pawan, coming from Syupuri village in Uttarakhand, showed strategic maturity and control of the ring from the beginning. He started carefully, avoiding the initial shaking and waiting for his opportunity, a sharp punch on the face that changed the atmosphere.

The 26-year-old man pinned his opponent into the corners, and in the middle of the second round, a magnificent bob-and-wive move opened the door for another clean strike. With stringent rescue and well -conscious aggression, he lagged the rangse behind and unanimously ensured the decision – his second consecutive win in the tournament.

Since 2017, the Indian Army has been in boxing since 2017 and a silver medalist of the National Championship, Bartwal since 2010. Now he is entering the quarter -finals with strong speed and his eyes are on the podium finish.

On Saturday, Bartwal started carefully in the initial round and his slightly passive approach meant that despite hitting some punches, Thai boxer Thanerat Sengfate looked a little ahead after the first round, but in the second round the Indian changed the gear, with his combination of one or two combinations, he disturbed his opponent and got upper hand. At the beginning of the third and final rounds, the two boxers made a strong comeback, but Bartwal soon retaliated and gained control and each time the Thai boxer lost his defense, he won by the 4: 1 decision.
