As the world is struggling with traffic congestion, technology has found its solution in ‘sky’. A recent air bike introduced by a foreign startup has created a stir among technology lovers. This one -seat flying bike is seen as an alternative to future urban transport.
According to a report, the Earth can be surrounded about 600 times by 2050 to handle increasing traffic. This is the reason that now the future of private vehicles is being searched in the sky, not on the ground.
Machines running in the air
Currently many startups and companies are working on air flying vehicles. It includes many names like Alef Model-A, SkyDrive, Opener, Jetson One. Jetson One is a single-seater air car that is preparing to come in the market.
At the same time, Xturismo flying bikes equipped with technology of Kawasaki has also made a lot of headlines. It has the ability to fly for 40 minutes.
New offering of Polish Startup
Recently, Poland’s Startup Jetson Bolnot has also introduced an electric air motorcycle. It is made by designer Tomasz Patan. This bike can fly at a speed of 200 kmph and can stay in the air for 20 minutes once charged. It can be used for small distance urban travel.
How does the air bike work?
The traditional bike rotates the motor wheels, but the air bike has a jet engine, which pushes the air rapidly backwards. It contains sensors such as gyroscopes and accelerometer, which maintains stability in the air. It is designed with carbon fiber and 3D printing technology, making it light but strong in weight.
How special is this invention?
Experts believe that these air bikes can change our thinking towards traffic in future. “It is seven times lighter than traditional motorcycles”, it is being claimed. However, it can be overcome by the reach of common people due to its price and high cost of maintenance.

Opinion of experts
Aviation expert Saras Tripathi says, “Bolinut’s technology is amazing, but it will take time to be implemented in practically. Its biggest feature is that it can directly reach the destination by the smallest air. But its expensive net propulsion technology and air traffic rules are the biggest challenges.”
Is India ready?
Now the question is whether this air bike will be able to be the beauty of the Indian sky? Until there is stability for these vehicles, safety guidelines and costs, it will only be the dream of the future.
