Rohit Sharma, former Mumbai Indians captain and star opener, is back in the spotlight after a match-winning performance in the Eliminator against Gujarat Titans.
As MI gear up to face Punjab Kings in Qualifier 2 of IPL 2025 at the Narendra Modi Stadium, a heartwarming video of Rohit with young fans has captured the internet's attention.
Ahead of the mega clash, Rohit was seen interacting with children at the Ahmedabad stadium. During the session, one curious child asked, “Sir Apko Out Kaise Karne Ka (Sir, how do we get you out?)” Rohit smiled and replied playfully, “ Nhi Wo Nahi Ho Sakta (No, that cannot happen).” The moment quickly went viral, with fans loving his lighthearted response.

Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 season has seen Rohit mostly play in the Impact Player role.
But he reminded everyone of his class in the Eliminator, smashing a stunning 81 off 50 balls against Gujarat Titans. His knock powered MI to a massive 228-run total, which proved too much for GT, who fell short by 20 runs.
Rohit's knock earned him the Player of the Match award and sent a strong message ahead of Qualifier 2 - he's ready for the big stage.
With Ryan Rickelton returning to South Africa, MI brought in Jonny Bairstow as a replacement. Bairstow opened alongside Rohit and looked in great touch, making an immediate impact in his first appearance of the season.
Mumbai Indians are chasing their sixth IPL crown, but to get there, they must first overcome Punjab Kings and then defeat Royal Challengers Bangalore in the final on June 3. If Rohit continues his current form - and keeps the mood light - MI will be a serious threat.
