The Congress’s own condition, which surrounded the BJP from social media to the Lok Sabha, is so bad that its organization has been completely shattered in many states. Factionalism and internal tussle have almost deactivated the party to the ground. The biggest example of this is Haryana, where the state Congress has not been formed for the last 11 years. As a result, the Congress has got a hat -trick of defeat in the last 3 assembly in Haryana. In such a situation, Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha and senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is visiting Chandigarh on 4 June with the intention of repairing the same staggering structure. Here he will hold a meeting with the leaders of Haryana Congress. Earlier this program was to be held on 1 June, but now a new date has been released by Rahul Gandhi’s office. In this tour, there will be an attempt to end the strength and mutual conflict of the organization, but the big question is whether Rahul Gandhi will be able to overcome 11 years of inaction and internal discord, or will it also become another failure political exercise?

This schedule will be of Rahul Gandhi’s visit

The Congress may have been surrounded by the BJP from Delhi to social media with the organization and leadership, but its own condition tells a different story. In a state like Haryana, the party has been running without an organization for the last 11 years. The lack of internal tussle, factionalism and leadership is so deep that the Congress has almost disappeared on the ground.

Now there is going to be another attempt to cover this shattered picture. Rahul Gandhi is coming to Chandigarh on 4 June. Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha and senior Congress leaders will hold a meeting with the leaders of Haryana Congress during this visit and the agenda of this meeting is clearly to raise the scattered organization and bring new life to the party.

Talk about his schedule, Rahul Gandhi will leave from Delhi to Chandigarh at 11:10 am. His arrival is scheduled in the Haryana Congress office at 12 noon, although the place can also be changed at the last moment. This tour will start, in the first phase from 12 and a quarter, Rahul Gandhi will talk face to face to senior leaders of the state. Then from 1:15 am to 2:15 pm, they will discuss the organization with the party’s central and state level supervisors. They will leave for the airport at around 2:45 pm.

Earlier, Haryana in -charge of Congress BK Hariprasad will take the responsibility of handling the atmosphere by reaching Chandigarh. Along with him, State President Uday Bhan and Executive President Jitendra Bhardwaj have also left from Delhi. On June 3, former Chief Minister Bhupendra Singh Hooda will also reach Chandigarh. Due to the meeting of assembly committees, most of the MLAs will also be present in the city on this day.

But the real question is, will these meetings get something solid? Will the Congress finally be able to form an organization in Haryana? Will there be any agreement in the name of the Leader of Opposition for a long time? And most important, will the party be able to show the courage to get out of that chronic disease of factionalism, which has been hollowing it inside for years? The Haryana Congress is currently standing at a turn where only meetings or statements will not work. Now difficult and clear decisions are needed. This visit of Rahul Gandhi is therefore not just a ‘program’, but a serious political examination. Now it will be seen whether this time something will change… or another tour will pass quietly like the past.

Sonia has also intervened

This is not the first time Rahul Gandhi is taking the ground to hold the internal movement in Haryana Congress. Despite being the state president of Ashok Tanwar, he had long, marathon meetings with party leaders at the Rainbow Auditorium in Panchkula. At that time, Rahul was not limited to only senior leaders, he also met the officials of Congress Seva Dal, Panchayati Raj Wing and other departments. Their aim was to strengthen the party from the root and add the inner breakdown.

Earlier, former Congress president Sonia Gandhi also visited Chandigarh to handle the situation during the Hooda government. He tried to resolve the ongoing conflict in the organization by meeting directly with MLAs. But despite all these efforts, the internal cracks of the party could not be completely filled.
