According to Wabetainfo, WhatsApp's upcoming feature has been spotted in WhatsApp beta for Android 2.25.17.48 version. After this feature, no unknown person will be able to message from someone else's WhatsApp without a PIN.

Some time ago, many leaks came out regarding WhatsApp's username feature. It was said that if someone does not want to give his mobile number to someone, then he can tell him the username. A big advantage of this will be that anyone can be searched only through the username and you will not need to save the number of such people in the phone, which will work for a short time.

The new feature is in the testing phase

Now the company is bringing an optional PIN feature related to the username. After the new feature is rolled out, those messaging you will have to first enter the correct PIN code, only then the message will be sent. Without the correct pin, no one will be able to send you any message. WhatsApp is currently developing this feature and it is being tested with beta users.
