New Delhi. Actor Ejaz Khan has filed a petition for anticipatory bail in the Bombay High Court. This application has been filed in the case of rape case which is registered at Charkop police station. A woman accused Ejaz of raping her by promising to give her a role in her show ‘House Arrest’.

Lawyer filed petition

The petition for bail on behalf of Ejaz was filed by advocate Ashok Saraoi. The petition filed stated that, “This FIR is wrong and illegal according to the law. Ejaz does not need police custody in any way, so the court gives them anticipatory bail.” The complaint lodged by the woman told that Ejaz had called her on the pretext of giving her the role of the host in her show. During the shoot, he first proposed marriage to the woman, then went to his house and later carried out the incident like rape.

Exploitation by calling home

The complainant is an actress by profession. He says that 40 -year -old Ejaz misbehaved with him by taking advantage of being a celebrity. The FIR also alleged that false promises of marriage, financial help and false promises were made in career. Through these false promises, Ejaz forced him several times. The complaint clearly stated that at around 2:15 pm on 4 April 2025, Ejaz called him in his Jogeshwari (West) house and sexually abused him.

Petition for canceled once before

Then on 24 April 2025, at around 3:15 pm, he came to the victim’s house and promised the marriage again. Following the complaint of the woman, the police registered a case against Ejaz. Earlier, Dindoshi Court quashed Ejaz’s anticipatory bail plea. His lawyer had said that the victim knew that Ejaz was already married. The relationship between the two was formed with the consent of the two.
