
Infrastructure major Larsen & Toubro (L&T) announced on Tuesday that it has secured significant contracts from the Rajasthan government. The company defines significant orders as those valued between ₹1000 crore and ₹2500 crore. The projects have been bagged by the water and effluent treatment business vertical of L&T from the public health engineering department of Rajasthan L&T said in a filing to BSE. The company said it has won an EPC order for the Rajasthan Rural Water Supply and Fluorosis Mitigation Project Phase II Package-1. The scope of the project encompasses supply and installation of 5251-km transmission and distribution pipelines construction of 38 ground level reservoirs with an aggregate capacity of 40 ML 20 pump houses and 132 overhead service reservoirs with an aggregate capacity of 25 ML it said. Another project pertains to strengthening and rehabilitation of the water supply system on the Kekri-Sarwar sector in Ajmer district. The scope of the project includes the supply and installation of 43-km transmission pipelines. Larsen & Toubro is a USD 30-billion Indian multinational engaged in engineering procurement and construction (EPC) projects hi-tech manufacturing and services operating across multiple geographies. In FY25 L&T delivered Rs 356600 crore in order inflows which is higher than 18 per cent year-on-year and revenue climbed 16 per cent to Rs 255700 crore. The company’s order book was at Rs 579100 crore a 22 per cent year-on-year growth. PAT rose 15 per cent to Rs 15000 crore while Return on Equity also grew by 140 basis points to 16.3 per cent. The Net Working Capital to Revenue ratio dropped to a 10-year low of 11 per cent. L&T announced a dividend of Rs 34 per share for FY25. (With Inputs From PTI)
