The Royal Challengers Bengaluru's victory parade after IPL 2025 win has been cancelled in Bengaluru. The Royal Challengers Bengaluru finally broke the jinx and lifted the IPL trophy after defeating Preity Zinta's Punjab Kings after a long wait of 18 years.
However, a felicitation ceremony will be held at the Vidhana Soudha as planned.
RCB players will come to Vidhana Soudha at 4 pm. "At Vidhana Soudha's grand steps, the Chief Minister and the Deputy Chief Minister will felicitate them. After the ceremony, the CM will personally congratulate each of the players. The entire program will last 45 minutes to 1 hour," Karnataka Home Minister said.
The Bengaluru Traffic Police has asked commuters to avoid routes near Vidhana Soudha and the Chinnaswamy Stadium during the felicitation ceremony.
"There will be no victory parade. There is limited parking space, so people are advised to use the metro or other public transport," it added.
As soon as Josh Hazlewood finished delivering the final ball of the match, Bengaluru began celebrations. The city turned into a sea of roaring red and multi-coloured crackers, illuminating the night skyline. Fans stormed the streets chanting "RCB and Kohli".
