There are many options for choosing in the market, but sadly, according to the budget, there are few options that actually work as they should do. We bought IZI One Lite Action Cam for review and according to the price on which it is being introduced, it is a great camera for you.

It also has some shortcomings, But we cannot blame it for what we are giving at this price. A great thing about this was that it has many accessories in the box, which makes it ready for use. This is something that does not occur in many other cameras and you have to buy all additional add-on bits that offer another major budget obstruction for a person looking for one stop solution. The camera is good for casual videography and we did not hesitate to place it on top of the car and walk out with it. Here is how it was.

IZI One Lite can be identified immediately as an action camera. There is a full -size screen at the back and surprisingly a screen on the front side to see what you are recording. This is good for the camera of this budget. There is no touch screen on it and everything is to be operated through the button that are fine to use and adequately touchable. There is a removable UV filter and the port contains a USB-recipe port and HDMI output. There is also an easy tripod bolt thread below it.

Overall the quality of construction is fine, but the battery compartment cover looks a bit weak and can break easily. The camera is also not basically waterproof, but the IZI box gives waterproof cover that works alright.

Camera functionality is fine. We wanted more detailed user manual to better explain its characteristics. It is incredibly underdeveloped. There are plenty of modes to choose and since there are only four buttons to work without touchscreen, it becomes a challenge to go to a specific function easily.

IZI One Lite: Video Quality, Battery Life and App

Let’s talk about how the camera is to shoot the video. Outside the box, it can shoot videos up to 5K and 30 FPS, although we placed it at 4K 60 FPS to get those smooth shots at a high frame rate. The video is clear but if we had a better wide angle, we would have been better. It felt a bit cropped and we had to put the camera far behind in our car to get a wide look desired. When the lighting is on its side, the video performs fine but in fast lighting it starts losing its performance. If the sun is in our direction, then the image becomes very blurred. The 4K image seems to be usable but the sensor is lacking in sharpness but we do not expect much from such small sensors. At night, it suffers from too much noise, so it is better to use it only in the day time.

The 50 -megapixel camera looks good, but there is still a lack of details in the pictures coming from this camera. It has slow motion mode but the camera can only do 120 FPS on 720p which is not ideal. The internal microphone is also not as good. However, the great thing is that IZI has included an external microphone in the box that works brilliantly when the audio records or taking a voice from the vehicle. Although, when you recording for a long time, the camera gets damaged but it does not stop even after it is quite hot when touched.

battery life

IZI One Lite’s battery life is very good. Both batteries last long, but one thing is to note that if you want to charge both batteries, you have to carry them separately by plugging them on the camera. The box does not include any external battery charger. We got a lot of recording time when we are charged with both batteries with One Lite and just need a simple USB-C cable to charge it, which we appreciate.

App control

An app also comes with the camera. We had some trouble connecting it, but it is quite easy to understand. This allows you to control the camera from a distance that is good if you are keeping it in a strange place and it allows to download the footage directly on your phone. This means that you can easily make content directly from your phone and do not have to connect to an external computer to remove footage from the memory car. The app is quite basic and it is very easy to understand.

IZI One Lite: Decision

IZI One Lite is not for those who are looking for the best quality of action cameras, but it is an entry level camera that allows you to get under the purview of action cameras and start immediately with everything you need. If you do not have a budget but you want to start making Moto Vlogging or Content, it will work for you in daily use. This camera has some shortcomings but we cannot blame it for any shortage at this price.
