11 people died due to a stampede in the audience to join the joy of RCB. At the same time, the news of many people was injured. The team shared a post on its official social media handle. Karnataka Deputy CM DK Shivkumar also attended RCB’s Victory Parade at Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. He first received the players from the airport. Then he reached Vidhan Saudha with them. After this, the team of the team reached Chinnaswamy Stadium. Millions of spectators were reached here inside and outside the stadium. There was a stampede among the audience outside the stadium. In which 11 people lost their lives.
On this, Virat Kohli shared a post on his official Instagram. He shared the post of RCB and wrote in the caption, “I do not have words. I am completely destroyed”.
RCB said this
“We are deeply saddened by the unfortunate incidents that came out through media reports. In the anticipation of the team’s arrival this afternoon, there was talk of gathering a crowd of people in the whole of Bengaluru. The safety and goodness of all is the most important for us. RCB mourns the tragic death and expresses his heartfelt condolences to the affected families”.
“Immediately after being aware of the situation, we immediately amended our program and follow the guidance and advice of the local administration. We urge all our supporters that please be safe”.
