While Kamal Haasan starrer Thug Life released on Thursday (June 5, 2025), his younger daughter Aksharaa Haasan took to Instagram to warn film fraternity members about a scammer who is using her and her family’s name, claiming that they are producing certain projects and have an office in Ooty.The actress shared a note which read, “To My Fellow Fraternity Members. Please be informed that a person named Ibrahim Akhtar is falsely using my name and my family’s name, claiming we are involved in producing projects and operating from an office in Ooty. These claims are entirely untrue, and we have no association with him (sic).”Aksharaa further wrote that they are taking legal action against him. The note further read, “We are taking the necessary steps to address this matter. We are taking the necessary legal steps to address this issue. Kindly remain cautious and do not engage with or encourage him in any way. If you are a die-hard fan of Haasan, then you can give it a try. Others can skip it.”
