In his message, Chawla reflected, “After dedicating over twenty years to the sport, the moment has arrived for me to say goodbye to this beautiful game. Representing India at the highest level and being part of the winning squads for the 2007 T20 World Cup and 2011 ODI World Cup has been a remarkable journey filled with unforgettable moments.”
He extended his gratitude to the IPL franchises that supported him throughout his career, including Punjab Kings, Kolkata Knight Riders, Chennai Super Kings, and Mumbai Indians, stating, “The IPL has been a significant chapter in my life, and I have treasured every moment spent on the field.”
