Suspense crime, Digital Desk : If you’re keeping an eye on precious metal prices in Hyderabad, here’s the latest update from the city’s bullion markets (Sarafa Bazar) and insights from the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) for today.

Gold prices in Hyderabad have seen a slight upward tick. For 10 grams of 24-carat gold, the benchmark for purity, the rate is currently around ₹74,020. This marks a modest increase of approximately ₹100 compared to the previous day’s closing.

For those interested in 22-carat gold, which is widely preferred for crafting jewelry, the price for 10 grams stands at about ₹67,850. This also reflects a minor rise of ₹10 from yesterday’s rates.

Turning to silver, prices have remained largely stable in the Hyderabad market. One kilogram of silver is currently being quoted at around ₹86,500. Consequently, 10 grams of silver would cost approximately ₹865.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), which reflects futures trading:

  1. Gold futures (for the relevant contract month, likely June expiry) were trading near ₹72,982 per 10 grams, showing some fluctuations.
  2. Silver futures were hovering around ₹84,985 per kilogram.

It’s important for investors and buyers to remember that prices for gold and silver are dynamic. They are influenced by a multitude of factors including international market trends, the strength of the US dollar against the Indian Rupee, local demand (which often peaks during festive and wedding seasons), government policies, and import duties. The article also noted that on March 15th, 24-carat gold was trading at ₹66,820 per 10 grams, highlighting the volatility and recent upward trend.

For the most accurate and up-to-the-minute rates, it’s always advisable to check with local jewelers and bullion dealers in Hyderabad, as prices can vary slightly from one vendor to another.
