
Bihar Weather: According to the forecast issued by Patna Meteorological Center, there is a danger of thunderstorm and storm in some districts of Bihar on 11 and 12 June. These districts include West Champaran, East Champaran, Gopalganj, Siwan, Saran, Shivhar, Sitamarhi, Madhubani, Darbhanga, Muzaffarpur, Vaishali, Samastipur, Sheikhpura, Saharsa, Supaul, Araria, Kishanganj, Purnia, Katihar and Khagaria. The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for all these districts. There is a possibility of thunderstorm along with strong winds at a speed of 50 to 60 kilometers per hour in these districts. In such weather, people have been advised to stay away from electric poles and trees, and stay in safe places.
Alert regarding severe heat in these districts
The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert in Kaimur, Rohtas, Aurangabad, Gaya, Nawada, Jehanabad, Arwal, Bhojpur, Buxar, Patna, Nalanda, Sheikhpura, Munger, Lakhisarai, Begusarai, Bhagalpur, Banka and Jamui districts of Bihar. The heat as well as humidity in these districts can harm people’s health. The Meteorological Department has appealed to take precautions due to the possibility of heat wave.

The Meteorological Department says that this situation is part of normal pre-monsoon activities. Its impact can be widespread and severe. Therefore, all citizens have been appealed to pay attention to the weather bulletin and not take any warning lightly. The next 24 to 48 hours are sensitive for all the districts of Bihar and do not be careless during this time.
