Transport Corporation’s Insurance Scheme
Roadways not only delivers passengers to a safe destination, but also provides accident insurance. A minimum of 50 paise and maximum 2.5 paise are taken for insurance on each ticket. In case of accident in roadways buses of Uttar Pradesh, the Transport Corporation will give a compensation of ₹ 500000. To avail this insurance scheme, passengers will have to spend ₹ 1, which will be included in the ticket.
