The accused wife first gave intoxicants to her husband and then killed him and threw his body in a river in Balrampur district. The police has revealed the incident and arrested the accused wife and her lover. The case is of Najafgarhwa of Rekhat Gram Panchayat of Dhebarua police station area of Siddharth Nagar district.

Wife made a plan to kill her husband.

This heart wrenching incident which tore apart the relationship was revealed when Sangeeta, a resident of Najafgarhwa village, filed a missing report of her husband 48-year-old Kannan in Dhebarua police station on June 2. Dhebarua police station started investigating after writing the missing report of her husband. Meanwhile, during the investigation, the police got some important clues, keeping this in mind, the police started questioning Kannan's wife and Sangeeta who had filed the complaint. When the interrogation was strict, Sangeeta broke down and what she told the police shocked everyone.

The accused wife Sangeeta told the police that she was having an affair with Anil Shukla alias Vivek ,

a resident of Dharmapur village of Lalia police station area of Balrampur district, for a long time. Meanwhile, Sangeeta, along with her lover Anil Shukla, made a plan to kill her husband and to put this plan into action, on June 2, she took her husband Kannan with her lover to Balrampur. Where they first fed Kannan intoxicants and then killed him near the bridge on Rapti river on Lalia road in Balrampur district and threw him in the river. On June 10, the police recovered Kannan's body one and a half kilometers away from the place where he was thrown, on the directions of Sangeeta and her lover. Where his body had completely rotted and turned into a skeleton. His family members identified him from his clothes.

Regarding the incident, Shohratgarh's CO Sujit Rai said that after strict interrogation, Sangeeta, who had reported her husband's disappearance, confessed to killing her husband with her lover and throwing his body in the Rapti river in Balrampur. After this, the police recovered the body and arrested the accused wife Sangeeta and her lover and sent them to jail under relevant sections. Everyone is stunned after these incidents of wives killing their husbands in connivance with their lovers.
