CRPF Jawan Killed In IED Blast During Anti-Naxal Operation On Odisha-Jharkhand Border

A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawan was killed on Saturday during an anti-Naxal operation in the dense Saranda forest along the Odisha-Jharkhand border, police officials confirmed. The deceased, Assistant Sub-Inspector Satyavan Kumar Singh, hailed from Kushinagar in Uttar Pradesh.
Singh was part of a joint security team tasked with sanitising the area after reports emerged that Maoists had looted explosives from a site near a stone quarry in Odisha’s Sundergarh district on May 27, as per a report on PTI.
