The Air India plane crash in Ahmedabad shocked all. As per reports, more that 240 people died in this fatal crash. The Boeing 787 Dreamliner took off from Sardar Vallabhai Patel International Airport on 1.38 pm on June 12. However, within a few minutes, it crashed near Meghaninagar area.

The plane crashed on mess of a medical college leading to further casualties. A lot of celebrities from across the world reacted to the tragedy. Many actors from Pakistan also expressed grief. Stars like Hania Aamir, Mahira Khan and others took to social media to extend condolences. Mahira Khan, who marked her Bollywood debut with the movie Raees featuring Shah Rukh Khan, took to her Insta stories to write, "Saddened by the crash of Air India. Tragic. Condolences to all who are grieving such a big loss." Hania Aamir wrote that she is deeply saddened by the tragic Air India plane crash and her thoughts and prayers are with the families of the victims. Mowra Hocane is also among the few Pakistani artistes who expressed sorrow for the tragic plane crash. Sana Javed also penned an emotional note and wrote, "So many lives lost in an instant beyond comprehension. Words cannot describe the pain my heartfelt sympathies are with the families of the deceased."

A lot of Bollywood celebrities also took to their respective social media accounts to express grief and sorrow over Air India plane crash. Celebrities like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan,Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Madhuri Dixit, Kriti Sanon, Shahid Kapoor and others took to social media to pen notes extending condolences and support to the grieving families of the deceased. As per reports, there were around 242 passengers onboard the ill-fated flight including the crew members. Reports state that only one has survived the crash.
