The Duke and Duchess of Sussex's decision to hire a former PR chief Netflix's The Crown is "almost beyond belief", a source has claimed. Emily Robinson was and was previously in charge of promoting the show from series three to series six, according to reports.
The Royal Family are believed to not be fans of the programme which includes fictionalised scenes, the reports. Ms Robinson was reportedly part of the team which argued against calls for the show to add a 'fictional disclaimer' on series five. A source told the outlet: "In the circumstances, it's almost beyond belief that Harry and Meghan would hire someone straight from The Crown."
Harry and Meghan are said to be aware of their new comms chief's role on the Netflix hit, but feel it is just one of a number she was involved with at the streaming giant.
