With parts of the UK expected to reach highs of 30C this week, we've been scouring some of our favourite retailers, including and , to find some of the best deals on fans available right now. From high-end fans that are great for the bedroom to highly rated ones with great discounts, we've found five fans available right now with great reviews from previous customers.

If you want a breeze on a budget, the is currently discounted by a third. Usually retailing for £65, the fan has been as part of a special offer that's arrived just in time for warmer days.

The fan has a 4.5-star customer satisfaction rating from previous shoppers and has been commended not only for its ability to keep homes cool, but also thanks to its "sleek design" that is great for smaller spaces.

The tower fan is 76.5cm tall and 24 cm wide, which some shoppers have said makes it a great option for flats or for storing when not in use. One customer who left a review on the Argos website said: "Bought this a month ago to match our other fan. Keeps us cool enough on those warm days when the flat is too hot."

Another added: "Bought this around a month ago as the weather started to heat up. Really pleased as it doesn't take up too much space."

Unlike some fans, this one comes with a remote which can be used "from across the room," meaning you can control the three wind flow settings without having to get up and down. However, you can also control settings with the control panel at the top of the appliance. Plus, it also oscillates to help with air flow (which is great for bigger spaces).

A shopper said: "I bought this a couple of weeks ago, its sleek design enables it to be easily stored away when not in use! It also comes with its own remote for easy use!"

Some customers have also said that the compact size of the fan and its timer function make it a good choice for bedrooms; however, there are mixed reviews regarding how noisy the fan is. One shopper said: "If you can deal with a tiny bit of noise 100% worth the purchase. Keeps the room cool in 25+ degree heat."

Another added: "Great little fan that is quite enough to sleep with and puts out a decent amount of wind."

However, another customer described it as "not the quietest fan". Aside from noise, the other negative factor that shoppers have pointed out from using this fan at night is some light pollution due to the control panel.

One review said: "[The] only [thing] about [this] is strong blue light, still on even when on sleep mode, this is quite uncomfortable." [SIC]

Some noise from a fan might not be an issue, especially if you're looking to use it during the day, but if you're after a top-of-the-range fan that is often recommended for use at night, is a good choice. Several user reviews say they use it at night, with some people commending it for being much quieter than regular fans.

One customer said: "Bought this fan as the old one was noisy and kept me awake, tried it out last night and was highly delighted with its performance."

A second added: "It is very quiet compared to a normal fan, but better when it comes to keeping the room cool, and it is easy to clean."

It certainly isn't the cheapest fan on the market right now, although at the time of writing, is offering a decent saving on the fan. Both retailers have reduced the fan by £80, bringing its .

Yes, it's still a splurge, but shoppers have suggested it's well worth it. In a review on the Dyson website, one customer said: "With the weather being so hot at the moment, we made an impromptu purchase. It's the best thing we have done and wish we had bought it sooner. Cool air and cool design."

The Cool Tower is bigger and bulkier than the Bush fan, measuring 100cm tall and weighing 2.85kg, though Dyson says its design is "engineered for larger spaces."

Perhaps the most noticeable aspect of the fan at first glance is its design. Unlike traditional rotating or tower fans, this one has no blades. Instead, it uses a motorised system to push the air in a ring direction. Dyson claims this design creates a "powerful airflow." You can also control the air flow remotely using the control.

However, much like the Bush fan, a shopper pointed out that the fan's LED light may cause a disturbance at night if you're sensitive to light. They said: "The fan is very powerful, but the LED light is too bright. I brought it for my bedroom, and it lights the whole room up at night."

The fan arrives in three parts, so it needs to be assembled, though shoppers have said this is a straightforward process.

If you're more concerned about a fan to cool down your lounge, home office or kitchen, but want something that has aesthetic appeal, is highly rated with a customer satisfaction score of five stars. The fan is also affordable, retailing for .

The traditional rotational blade fan comes in three colour ways, black, silver or white, each complimented with wood-effect accents and blades. "Love the Scandi style," said one shopper. "Different from most fans. Very pleased."

A second added: "Nice fan with a powerful motor. Looks good with the wooden blades, too."

The pedestal fan cools rooms using four curved-edge blades encased in a metal cage. It has three speed settings, plus a tilt and oscillating function. However, the fan does not have a remote and is instead controlled using buttons on the rear of the cage.

"Lovely fan, could be better with a remote, great speed and looking forward for the summer," said one shopper.

Though the fan is 16 inches tall when fully expanded, it can be adjusted by up to 1.25 metres. Russell Hobbs says the design is aimed at space-saving, particularly for those using the fan while working, as it "won't take up valuable space on your office desk."

And while this might not be the swankiest fan out there, customers have noted that it "isn't too noisy".

Some of the Daily Express team has chipped in with the fans keeping them cool at home. One editor owns , which is currently £59.99, down from £79.99 on Amazon. While technically marketed as a desk fan, he stands it on the floor in the bedroom - it's 33cm tall and around 25cm in width and depth, and he says that it's is powerful enough to be effective while being sufficiently quiet enough to sleep soundly. It has 12 settings and a clear digital display, plus a timer that can be set to auto-switch off after two hours. It has a remote control so can be turned off from in bed, too.

One reviewer said: "I bought a second one of these for work after getting one for my bedroom. The fan is practically silent so doesn't disrupt my sleep or work. Airflow and power is great...Easily portable as it is not heavy and has a handle."

Another editor swears by the , currently down from £32.49 to £20.49 on Amazon. This one has fewer features - it has three settings and no digital display or remote - and while similar in height and depth, it is only 16cm wide, so it will fit more comfortably on a bedside table, though do measure your space before buying to ensure it fits your needs. It is also designed to be wall-mounted, if desired. Honeywell says the cooling effect reaches up to seven metres, though this one is best suited to smaller rooms.

It has consistently good reviews from shoppers, with one commenting: "An absolute game-changer during hot spells...it seriously delivers when it comes to airflow. It cools the space quickly and consistently without taking up much room."

Another said: "I use fans a lot, and over the years have got through several, but none have has as strong a 'wind' as this and has a brilliant airflow. Even I may get chilli with this one." The same reviewer also commented on noise levels, stating: "It is quieter than several I have had but not the quietest," but noted that this was when on a bedside table, so if placed further away then it would be "even quieter".
