While the rainy season relieves the heat on the one hand, on the other hand it also brings many challenges for our skin. In this season, moisture and humidity increases, due to which the skin can suffer from problems like sticky, lifeless and acne. Therefore, during this time it is very important to make some changes in your skin care routine. Here is a step-by-step skin care routine for the morning, by adopting which you can keep your skin healthy and shiny even during the rainy season:
Cleansing: Wake up in the morning and first clean your skin with light cleanser. During the rainy season, dirt and dust stick to the skin due to the moisture present in the air. A gentle cleanser, which has elements such as salicylic acid or tea tree oil, will help remove excess oil and impurities, which will not stop the pores and reduce the problem of acne.
Toning: Use alcohol-free toner after cleansing. The toner helps maintain the pH balance of the skin and tighten the pores. The risk of bacteria growing on the skin increases during the rainy season, so an anti-bacterial toner can be very beneficial. Take it on the cotton pad and apply it on the entire face and neck with light hands.
Serum: Apply serum according to the needs of your skin. If your skin is oily or acne-pran, choose niacinamide or vitamin C serum. These serums balance moisture in the skin, reduce stains and make the skin shiny. Take a few drops of serum and pat it on the skin with light hands.
Moisturizing: Skin needs hydration even during the rainy season, but select light, gel-based or water-based moisturizer instead of heavy creams. These moisturizers provide moisture without making the skin sticky. This is especially important for those with oily skin.
Sunscreen: Even if the sky is cloudy, the harmful UV rays of the sun can reach you. Therefore, do not forget to include at least SPF 30 sunscreen in the morning skin care routine. Gel-based or matte finish sunscreen is best suited for this season, as it does not make the skin sticky.
Lip Care: Do not forget to keep your lips hydrated. Use SPF -rich lip balm so that your lips are protected from moisture and UV rays. Make up at least makeup during the rainy season, so that your skin can breathe and the pores are not closed.
