Liverpool to pay Florian Wirtz's parents eye-watering fee in £116m transfer deal

Liverpool are set to cough up £8.55million to Florian Wirtz's parents as they move towards cementing the blockbuster signing. The German international is from Bayer Leverkusen.

Wirtz is until 2030 as complete a British record transfer. Arne Slot's side are stumping up £116million including add-ons and the 22-year-old will become the club's second highest paid player, behind .
