Vishwas Kumar, the only survivor of Air India aircraft accident, gave his brother’s last farewell with moist eyes

A week after the horrific Air India aircraft accident in Ahmedabad, Vishwas Kumar Ramesh was discharged from the city’s civil hospital. A total of 270 people died in this tragic accident. As soon as he left the hospital, Vishwas got a chance to have a last darshan of his brother Ajay’s body, who was later handed over to the family for the funeral. Vishwas joined his brother’s last visit and bid him farewell with moist eyes.

British citizens are faith

40 -year -old Vishwas is a British citizen. He is the only living passenger of the accident that took place on June 12. As soon as the information of the accident was received, his family reached India from the United Kingdom. Both Vishwas and Ajay were residents of Diu and came to India for family holidays.

The local administration confirmed Ajay’s identity after DNA testing and his funeral was performed by his family members in Diu on Wednesday.

Accident took place in Ahmedabad

The accident occurred when Air India flight 171, which was a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, crashed only a few minutes after flying from Ahmedabad Airport. In a viral video, Vishwas was seen going towards an ambulance in an injured state. Talking to reporters, he told that his seat part fell in the hostel of BJ Medical College, so that he somehow managed to get out. He said that when I saw that the door was broken, I told myself that I should try to get out and finally I could leave.
