Long Lost Family: Born Without Trace viewers were left in shock after learning the truth behind a woman's family. The seventh series of the series aired on Wednesday, introducing viewers to a woman named Lisa Dyke. The 55-year-old was abandoned as a newborn baby in Dorset, Christchurch, in May 1969. Left in another baby's pram, there was a note attached to Lisa supposedly written by her birth mother. It said: "Please take care of her. I cannot and never will be able to give her a good home where she will be happy. She is just born and needs a doctor."
Lisa discovered her birth parents were called Christine and Brian and her mother was 25 years old when she had her. This surprised Lisa, as she speculated her mother could have given her up due to being too young. But the bombshell's continued as Lisa discovered she has three full siblings. In yet another shock, Lisa discovered that she was her mother's third child. Her brother, Tim, was born in 1967 and her sister, Jen, was born in 1968. Lisa was born the following year and abandoned by her mother, who welcomed Lin in 1972.

This baffled viewers, as they couldn't understand why Christine chose to give up her third child before having a fourth.
One wrote: "#longlostfamily I don't understand how her parents kept 3 children and gave up the one."
Another emotional fan penned: "Finding out you've full siblings and you were abandoned. How do you take that in. #longlostfamily."
A third agreed: "I was thinking maybe she was the first born and they were young, but to find out she's number 3, is wild!" A fourth said: "It must be so hard to find out that after you were left another baby came along."

Another heartbroken viewer added: "Lisa's story has broken me. I am a dry husk after all the tears." A fifth echoed: "Hands up anyone who didn't absolutely sob their heart out at #longlostfamily," followed by three crying emojis.
Fortunately, Lisa had a happy childhood, raised by Sylvia and Brian in Hampshire. After Sylvia's death in 2023, Lisa decided it was time to learn more about her past and turned to DNA testing.
After discovering the truth about her family Lisa said: "A younger sister. It's, I'm trying to process it. I feel like I've gone from having nobody to now having three full siblings, all very similar ages."
Lisa came face to face with her brother and two sisters during the emotional episode. After the heartwarming meet, she added: "I feel like I've gone from having nobody to having three siblings all very similar ages."
