After the rollout of 5G services of Reliance Jio, Airtel, and Vodafone Idea, now the government company BSNL has launched the Quantum 5G service. With the launch of the company's Quantum 5G service, the wait of crores of people is also over. Even though this is a soft launch, the company can soon start its 5G service in selected cities. Let us know which state has BSNL chosen first for Quantum 5G service.
It is worth noting that this is a soft launch of BSNL Quantum 5G, that is, the 5G service has not been commercially launched yet. By sharing the post through BSNL's official X (Twitter), it has been informed that the company's CMD A Robert J Ravi has soft launched the Quantum 5G FWA service in Hyderabad, the capital of Telangana. People will get the benefit of superfast internet speed through the company's 5G service.
This is the plan for strong connectivity.
Last year, the company decided to install 1 lakh 4G and 5G towers, out of which more than 70 thousand towers have been activated but 1 lakh towers will be installed to give better connectivity to the people. At present, it is not known when BSNL is planning to start 5G service for the people.
BSNL will spend this much money in 10 years
Let us remind you that two years ago in May 2023, BSNL gave the contract to Ericsson for telecom equipment. Apart from Ericsson, Tejas Network and Tata Consultancy Services were entrusted with the task of installing mobile towers. The company has planned to invest Rs 13000 crore for the maintenance of 4G mobile towers for the next ten years.
