Lucknow: Young cricketers, who are training at KD Singh Babu Stadium in Lucknow, hope that India will perform brilliantly on the tour of England. Along with this, he has also appreciated the new captain Shubman Gill.

Jain-ul-Haq, who was training from coach Asif Khan at the academy here, told ‘IANS’, “The first one hour of the first day of the Test match was extremely difficult, but our player played like this, as it is his home ground. The new generation is playing very good cricket. The players have played IPL, but did not see that he is playing in T20 mode.”

He added, “According to the circumstances, the mold shows how strong our players are. Gill has got a glimpse of Kohli during the century innings. We hope India will win 5–0 against England.”

Young cricketer Shivam Soni believes that captain Gill has given a befitting reply to critics. He told IANS, “When Rohit-Kohli took retirement, everyone trolled a lot when Shubman Gill was made captain, but with this century Gill has shut down the critics of critics.

He added, “India has crossed the 350 -run mark on the first day. Team India is currently dominating the match. I think England’s bowling is not so strong. However, his batting is strong. Jo Root and Ben Stokes prove to be a threat to India, but India’s bowling is strong. If Jaspreet Bumrah has come into form, if Jaspreet Bumrah has come into form, even if Jasprit Bumrah has come into form.”

Right -handed batsman Rajat Tiwari, who is taking training from this academy, told ‘IANS’, “It seemed that England could be heavy on the young Indian team, but Gill and Jaiswal proved it wrong. The first session in the leads is very difficult, but India did well. If kept silent, the trophy will be our name. ”

The first day of the first Test in Leeds between India and England was a game of 85 overs. During this, Team India scored 359 runs losing three wickets. Yashasvi Jaiswal scored 101 runs, while by the end of the first day, captain Gill 127 and Rishabh Pant were unbeaten on 65 runs.
