Kim Soo Hyun Controversy Major UPDATE: New Lawsuit Filed

As per the Indian Express' reports, Kim Sae Ron's former manager, K, submitted a complaint at Seocho Police Station in Seoul against the popular YouTuber named Kwon Young Chan on June 19. The complaint was reportedly filed on June 20. The former manager claimed in the complaint, "My real name and face were continuously exposed. Claims were made that I sold Kim Sae Ron to an unknown person, leaked all information, and caused her death, all of which are untrue." YouTuber Kwon Young Chan accused the former manager of grooming the late actress Kim Sae Ron and separating her from her family. The YouTuber also stated in his videos that Mr. K "emotionally trapped" the late actress.

Kwon Young Chan reportedly said "K isolated her. He trapped her into an island. Grooming is not something special. It's about raising someone while gaining control over their soul."

Mr. K refused to accept any such claims. He further called out the YouTuber for defaming him and said in his complaint, "Kim Sae Ron became affiliated with Management Run under an exclusive contract in January 2024. I only got to know her then. She had been facing difficulties in her career due to her past DUI incident (May 18, 2022), and I was helping and supporting her comeback."

Debunking separating Kim Sae Ron from her family rumors, Mr. K said, "I called an ambulance right away to save her, and then I called her mother to let her know. Her mother replied, 'I can't come right now.' So the claim that I didn't inform her family is absurd."

Revealing why he revealed such information on his YouTube channel, Kwon Young Chan said that he tried sending K KakoTalk messages but he did not revert to any of those. Kwons said, "I sent a long KakaoTalk message to K because I had questions. I called him over ten times and sent more messages, but received no reply. So I asked the questions in the form of a broadcast."
