‘Sitaare Zameen Par’ Box Office Collection Day 2: Aamir Khan has returned to the big screen with a bang. His latest release 'Sitaare Zameen Par' is not only winning hearts but also box office numbers. Riding high on glowing reviews and strong audience reactions, the comedy-drama witnessed a solid upward trend on Saturday, comfortably doubling its opening day figures.

According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the film collected ₹10.70 crore on Friday, which included ₹10.6 crore in Hindi and ₹0.05 crore each from Tamil and Telugu versions. On Saturday, the numbers surged significantly, with Sitaare Zameen Par earning ₹21.50 crore across all languages. That brings its two-day total to a commendable ₹31.50 crore.

'Sitaare Zameen Par' Occupancy Rates

The film had an average occupancy rate of 29.30% on Saturday, with 13% in morning shows, 31.86% in afternoon shows, and 43.05% in evening shows. With such strong numbers, industry experts predict that Sitaare Zameen Par will collect Rs 25-30 crore on Sunday, bringing its weekend collection to Rs 56-60 crore.

Trade insiders are now eyeing a blockbuster Sunday. Projections suggest that the film may collect another ₹25–30 crore, which would put its weekend total between ₹56–60 crore. If this momentum continues, 'Sitaare Zameen Par' could easily breach the ₹100 crore mark domestically within its first five days.

As the weekend unfolds, all eyes remain fixed on whether 'Sitaare Zameen Par' can continue this impressive streak and emerge as one of the year’s biggest crowd-pullers.

About 'Sitaare Zameen Par' 

Directed by R.S. Prasanna, Sitaare Zameen Par serves as the spiritual sequel to Aamir’s iconic 2007 film Taare Zameen Par. It stars Aamir and Genelia Deshmukh in pivotal roles and features 10 young actors with Down syndrome and autism, marking a rare and inclusive casting choice in mainstream Indian cinema. The film is produced under the Aamir Khan Productions banner.

The screenplay is written by Divy Nidhi Sharma, with music by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy and lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya.
