Safe Return of Telangana Students
Hyderabad: Six students from Telangana have successfully returned from Iran and Israel, with seven more expected to arrive later today, according to officials on Monday.
The group included four students who traveled from Iran and two from Israel, arriving in New Delhi late Sunday night.
The safe transit of these students was coordinated by Telangana Bhavan in New Delhi.
All six had pre-arranged flights back to Hyderabad and were seen off by staff from Telangana Bhavan at 5:30 a.m. on Monday.
Officials ensured their comfort and well-being during their stay in Delhi, providing assistance until they boarded their flights.
The Telangana government is closely monitoring the ongoing situation in the Middle East and is committed to supporting its citizens returning from the affected areas.
Seven additional Telangana residents are anticipated to arrive in New Delhi today after successfully crossing from Israel to Amman, Jordan.
Arrangements are being made to welcome and assist them at the airport and Telangana Bhavan.
Meanwhile, other Telangana residents still in Israel are experiencing delays due to the temporary closure of Israeli airspace.
Despite these challenges, the Telangana government is dedicated to helping all affected citizens and is in constant communication with the Ministry of External Affairs, Indian Embassies, and relevant authorities, as stated by officials.
Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has directed officials to ensure that every returning Telangana resident receives prompt assistance, suitable accommodation, and support for onward travel.
Citizens are encouraged to stay connected with official sources and avoid relying on unverified information.
The Telangana government is committed to standing by its people during this difficult time and will continue its efforts to ensure their safety and swift return, as emphasized by Telangana Bhavan.
In response to the missile attacks between Israel and Iran last week, the state government established a dedicated helpline at Telangana Bhavan.
