India's batters have provided a stunning display in the first Test against England at Headingley, Leeds. Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shubman Gill, and Rishabh Pant have hit centuries in the first innings. In the second innings, KL Rahul and Rishabh Pant have added two more tons, making it five standalone hundreds for India in the same Test match.
Pant also became the only Asian & overall second wicket-keeper batter to register a ton in both the innings of a Test.
This is not an easy task in cricket. It's India's first time to register five centuries in a Test match. Only five teams in the history of cricket have accomplished this. India also became only the second team to accomplish this feat in an away Test match. The first team was Australia, who achieved it in Kingston, West Indies, way back in 1955.

Could This Be an Embarrassing First for India?
Despite such powerful batting, the game is still not completely in Indian hands. After few over bowled in the first session of Day 5, England now requires less than 280 runs and possess all 10 wickets. With batters like Zak Crawley and Ben Duckett on the pitch and a deep batting line-up, England still possess an even chance of pursuing the target.
If India loses this game, they will create an unwanted as well as embarrassing record in the history of Test cricket.

If England manage to win this game, it will be an historic and humiliating defeat for India. No Test team in history has ever registered five centuries and lost a match. The nearest anyone came was Australia in 1928/29, who registered four centuries but still went on to lose.
This game will either be a glory or one of the most stunning defeats in Indian Test history.
