Generally, Dhokla made from gram flour is eaten a lot, but have you ever tasted Moong Dal Dhokla? This is a great dish that wins everyone's hearts. Everyone wants to start their day with a tasty and healthy breakfast. In such a situation, Dhokla prepared from Moong Dal can be made for breakfast. Children also eat it with great relish. Often children do not like Moong Dal, but they also like nutritious Dhokla made from Moong Dal. Unpeeled Moong Dal is used to make it. Ingredients

Moong dal (without peel) – 3/4 cup

Gram flour – 1 tablespoon

Curd – 2 tablespoon

Sesame seeds – 1/2 teaspoon

Grated coconut – 1 tablespoon

Mustard seeds – 1/2 teaspoon

Turmeric – 1/2 teaspoon

Sugar – 1.5 teaspoons

Green chillies – 2-3

Coriander leaves – 2 tablespoons

Oil – 2 tablespoons

Fruit salt – 1.5 teaspoons

Recipe

- First of all, take unpeeled (yellow) moong dal and soak it in water overnight. In the morning, add some water to the soaked moong dal and green chilies in the mixer.

- Grind them and prepare a thick paste. Now take out this paste in a big bowl and add sugar, asafoetida, gram flour, and curd and mix everything well.

- After this, add fruit salt, turmeric, and a little oil to this mixture as per taste and mix well. Now take a tray or plate and apply ghee or oil on it well.

- After this, put the solution on the plate and spread it well put the plate in the steamer and let it cook for 10-15 minutes. When the dhokla is cooked, take it out and keep it aside.

- Now take a small non-stick pan and heat it by adding some oil in it. When the oil is hot, add mustard seeds and crackle them.

- After this, add sesame seeds and asafoetida and fry for some time on medium flame. Add finely chopped green chilies and fry and spread the prepared tempering evenly over the dhokla.

- Now spread finely chopped coriander leaves and grated coconut on the dhokla. Now cut the dhokla into pieces and serve with green chutney.
