
Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has issued an official notification for vacancies on 39 posts of Scientist and Engineer. This advertisement has been issued by ISRO for Scientist and Engineer SC Group-A posts, in which 18 posts of Scientist / Engineer SC (Civil), 10 posts of Scientist / Engineer SC (Electricals), 9 posts of Scientist / Engineer SC (Refrigeration and Air Conditioner), one post of Scientist / Engineer SC (Architecture) and one post of Scientist / Engineer SC (Civil) Autonomous Body are vacant. Eligibility Criteria
To apply for these posts, candidates must have passed BE or BTech with 65 percent marks from a recognized institute in India. Apart from this, candidates should also have other prescribed eligibility.
Age Limit
The age of the candidates to apply for the posts of Scientist and Engineer has been fixed at 28 years as of July 14, 2025. However, candidates will also be given age relaxation. SC and ST candidates will be given a five-year relaxation in age limit and OBC candidates will be given a three-year relaxation in age limit.
Selection Process
Applicants will be selected through written tests and interviews. Candidates will be informed through email of the written test. The written test will be divided into two parts. In Part I, candidates will be asked 80 multiple-choice type questions based on the subject. In this, there will be a negative marking of one mark for each correct answer and one-third marks for each wrong answer. Apart from this, in Part II, candidates will be asked 15 multiple choice type questions from aptitude and ability, in which there is no provision of any kind of negative marking. Apart from this, the candidates shortlisted in the written examination will be invited for interview.
