Tehran: The Times of Israel said that Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei threatened to attack American military bases once again and said that US President Donald Trump had “exaggerated” the impact of attacks on Iranian nuclear installations.

Khamenei said in a televised address on Thursday that Iran had won the 12-day air war that Israel had started, giving the US a “severe slap.” In his first address since Iran and Israel agreed to a truce, he said these things.
He said, “The American president exaggerated events in unusual ways, and it turned out that he needed this exaggeration. “The United States has gained nothing from this war,” Khamenei remarked, adding that American assaults on Iranian nuclear sites “did nothing significant.”
According to a story by The Times of Israel, he claimed victory in the fight and added, “The Islamic Republic won and, in retaliation, dealt a severe slap to the face of America,” in reference to Iran’s missile strike against a US military installation in Qatar.
Iran has “access to key US centers in the region and can take action whenever it deems necessary,” he said, threatening that “such an action can be repeated in the future, too.”
Following the US’s precise attacks on three important Iranian nuclear sites early Sunday morning as part of “Operation Midnight Hammer,” tensions in West Asia increased. According to CNN, Iran launched several missiles in retaliation at US military facilities in Qatar and Iraq, including the Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar.
Two days after a ceasefire halted the conflict between Israel and Iran, he made these comments. Iran would “never” give up, he said, and the “enemy will definitely pay a heavy price” if “any aggression occurs.”
He said, “Should any aggression occur, the enemy will definitely pay a heavy price.” “There will never be surrender,” Khamenei said. Our country is strong.
According to Iran’s Supreme Leader, the United States only became involved in the conflict because “it felt that if it did not intervene, the Zionist regime would be utterly destroyed.”
“I want to congratulate the great Iranian nation… for its victory over the fallacious Zionist regime,” he stated, congratulating Iran on its victory over Iran, according to The Times of Israel.
Since hiding in a covert location after the conflict’s onset on June 13, when Israel attacked Iranian nuclear facilities and targeted senior military leaders and scientists, Khamenei has not been seen in public.
According to reports, Khamenei was prevented from speaking to the outside world because of concerns about disclosing his whereabouts. According to the source, key commanders and nuclear experts slain in the fight will have a state burial in Tehran on Saturday.
On the social networking site X, Khamenei also threatened Israel. “The Zionist regime must know that attacking the Islamic Republic of Iran will result in a heavy cost for them,” he said in a post on X.
