New Delhi: Amazon Prime Video’s reality show The Traitors seems to have picked up some pace after dropping six episodes of pure deception and innocence. For the past episodes, the reality series has dodged the bullets of being called the OTT Splitsvilla. However, it’s more than just a silly treasure hunt.
Episodes 7, 8 and 9 bring some much-needed tension as one of The Traitors, Elnaaz Norouzi, becomes the centre of suspicion. Meanwhile, Sufi Motiwala gets poisoned by our second traitor, Purav Jha, in a secret mission. What’s next for the finale episode? Scroll down to know!
The Traitors Episode 7, 8 and 9
Episode 7 begins with the ousting of innocent Janvi Gaur, who gets killed by traitors Purav and Elnaaz. However, things turn sour when the other innocents get suspicious about Elnaaz’s whereabouts and attitude. Purav, on the other hand, knows well that she will be voted out and tries to hold on to his secret. In the ‘Circle of Shak’, all the contestants vote out Elnaaz, who reveals that she was a traitor, but not without a heartfelt farewell speech.
The remaining contestants get treated with a glitzy little cocktail party. But Purav gets a secret task to poison an innocent, that too in front of everyone. Initially difficult, he tries to pull off the mission with ease and poisons Sufi Motiwala.
Purav gets an additional responsibility to blackmail an innocent into becoming his fellow traitor. He gives Harsh Gujaral’s name, and the latter excitedly agrees. Initially, the two boys try to play together and try their best to keep up the secret. The next day, the latter Sufi gets eliminated from the show. But what’s The Traitors without an ounce of drama? All eyes are on two people – Harsh and Uorfi Javed. Apoorva Mukhija, aka The Rebel Kid, is hell bent on naming Harsh in the next ‘Circle of Shak’ and conveys this to Purav. However, it is Anshula who gets voted out. She reveals that she was always an innocent, much to the disappointment of others.
In the last episode, Harsh and Purav kill Jannat at night. At the breakfast table, Apoorva, Uorfi and Jasmin Bhasin get disappointed with her departure. In a final elimination round before the finale, Apoorva gets a dagger from host Karan Johar. The dagger is supposed to give the power of a double vote in the Circle of Shak. She hands it to Purav, who gets influenced and decides to vote out his fellow Traitor, Harsh.
In the final Circle of Shak, a major showdown occurs where a tie breaker happens between Apoorva and Harsh. Both get equal votes despite Purav’s double vote power. In a surprise revelation, Nikita Luther votes out Apoorva. In the end, all eyes are on Uorfi Javed, whom she will vote out. The episode ends without her revealing the name.
