Kathmandu (Nepal), Feb 23 (ANI): Students in cultural attire set up stalls from 50 countries, captivating visitors as they explored global cultures, geography, and lifestyles. Set up by secondary school students as an extracurricular activity, these stalls aimed at enhancing their understanding of global cultures. The “BIS International Day” stalls, hosted on school premises, are supported by diplomatic missions in Nepal. Guided by teachers, the exhibition showcases cuisine, politics, leaders, religion, language, landmarks, geography, and unique National insights. Inaugurated by the Mayor of Gokarneshwor Municipality, the event served as an out-of-classroom learning experience. Local bodies in Nepal now prioritize “learning by doing,” supporting schools to enrich students' education beyond the classroom.
