Soft and Sponji Cake Recipe (Eggless Sponge Cake in Hindi)

Ingredients:

  • Flour – 1 cup

  • Baking powder – 1 tsp

  • Baking Soda – 1/2 teaspoon

  • Sugar – 3/4 cup (ground)

  • Curd (fresh) – 1/2 cup

  • Milk – 1/4 cup

  • Oil / Ghee – 1/4 cup

  • Vanilla Essence – 1 teaspoon

  • Lemon juice or vinegar – 1 teaspoon

  • Salt – 1 pinch

Method of preparation:

  1. Preheat oven or cooker:
    Preheat the oven at 180 ° C.
    If you are making in the cooker, add salt to it and cover it for 5 minutes and heat it.

    Sieve flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.

  3. Mix wet ingredients:
    Add curd, ground sugar, oil and vanilla essence to the second bowl and whisk well. Now add milk and lemon juice to it.
