When the State Bank of Pakistan i.e. SBP did the investment check of foreign transaction, information about sending money to several accounts in Dubai during 3 days has been revealed. Surprised by this, SBP has ordered the frequency of frequency to send money abroad to all government and private banks of Pakistan.
No strictness on money transaction in Dubai
In the investigation conducted by SBP so far, it has been revealed that a large amount from some accounts has also been sent to America, Canada and Britain. Transfer of money from Pakistan to Dubai is also considered a secure because the amount of money transaction in Dubai is not strict. Dubai has business of Pakistan’s top leaders and currently retired Pak military officers. Also, these people have also made a lot of investment in the real estate sector.
Dollar shortage
At the same time, it has become very difficult to get dollars in the open exchange market in Pakistan. You get $ 1,000 on showing passports in Pakistan, but now they are not available. The Exchange Company Association General Secretary Jafar Paracha had speculated that the dollar shortage is going to increase in the coming days due to the intensity of War. Meanwhile, according to SBP, Pakistan now has a storage of foreign currency for paying only 12 days of import bills. On Friday, SBP had foreign currency worth Rs 2 lakh crore. According to the World Bank, Pakistan is required to have a storage to pay 25 days import bills. Experts believe that due to lack of foreign exchange storage, the import of petroleum and other essential items can be affected.
