The Indian Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains in many states of the country.
Rain with thunderstorms in these states
According to the Meteorological Department, more than 204.5 mm of rain is expected in coastal and valley areas of Karnataka. IMD has warned of heavy rains in Assam, Meghalaya, Konkan and Goa. There is also a possibility of thunderstorms here.
Many areas of central Maharashtra and northern Karnataka are expected to blow strong winds at a speed of 50-60 kmph. There is a possibility of thunderstorms and heavy rains. According to the report, 204.4 mm of rain can be seen in a year.
Storm with heavy rain
According to IMD, the monsoon can knock in Kerala in the next 4 to 5 days, where heavy rains will begin. This time the monsoon is likely to come early. At the same time, heavy rains continue with thunderstorms in many areas of the Western Ghats, including all the areas of Karnataka to Maharashtra, even before the arrival of monsoon.
Along with this, heavy rains were seen in Nala Sopara in Palghar district with a thunderous clouds, due to which the roof of the house collapsed. Somehow two people were saved. Heavy rains have been seen in many areas of North, West and East India, including the country’s capital Delhi-NCR.
Rain warning here too
According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy rains with electricity and thunder in Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand and Marathwada. At the same time, rain may receive rain in Nagaland, Mizoram, Tripura, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim. The Meteorological Department has predicted 64.5 to 115.5 mm rainfall.
Strong winds can also blow here. Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan may also receive rain by 26 May. These areas are expected to blow strong winds at a speed of 30-50 kmph. There are chances of thunderstorms and hailstorms in Uttarakhand and eastern Uttar Pradesh.
