Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the notification for Combined Hindi Translator (CHT) recruitment. With the release of the notice, the registration process has also started from June 5. Interested candidates having the required qualifications can apply through the official website. The last date for submission of the online application is June 26. The last date for submission of the application fee is June 27. The application correction window will be open from July 1 to 2. The computer-based test will be held on August 12. A total of 437 posts of Junior / Senior Hindi Translator will be filled through this recruitment drive.

This is the educational qualification and age limit.

The candidate must have a master's degree in Hindi with English and Hindi compulsory or optional subjects from a recognized university. The age of the candidate willing to apply should be between 18 to 30 years.

This is the application fee.

Interested candidates have to pay the online application fee as per their category. General category candidates have to pay Rs 100. SC/ST/PWD/Ex-Servicemen and Women candidates are exempted from paying the application fee.

This is the exam pattern.

SSC JHT Paper 1 will be of multiple choice questions in which 100-100 questions will be asked from General English and General Hindi. Selected candidates will then be called for Paper 2, which will be of descriptive type and the paper will assess the translation and essay writing skills of the candidate in both Hindi and English. The SSC Junior Hindi Translator selection process consists of two stages, namely Paper 1 (Objective) and Paper (Descriptive).

- Click on the Apply Online button on the homepage.

- Register yourself to get the registration number and password.

- Re-login and fill in the remaining information.

- Pay the required fee.

- Take a print and download the online application form for future reference.
