Mind-reding gadget: An AI device has now come in the market that can carry out tasks as soon as you think. This device resembles a button on the head and is named Omi. The company claims that this wearable gadget recognizes your thoughts and works without understanding the instructions without speaking.

Omi is designed like an individual AI assistant who gives suggestions and reactions to you by listening to the conversation not just from your thinking. This suggestion appears on the user’s smartphone app.

Sink will be done by phone, will read brain again

It is connected to the smartphone before using Omi. Once connected, the users can only think and order it and answer it through the device app. In this, users can decide whether the device only listen to their voice or listen to the surrounding conversations. The conversation recorded by the device is kept in smartphone or cloud, which users can delete at any time.

Two different designs will be available

Omi will be launched in two versions, one button on the forehead and the other necklace (worn around the neck). The device on the forehead works directly by reading ideas, while the necklace version works through voice commands.

Battery will run for several days

Both variants have a rechargeable battery which can last for several days after charging. Apart from this, the company has also made public technical information (soldering and PCB assembly) for those who have technical knowledge and want to make it themselves.

Manufacturer’s big goal

Nik Shevchenko, the creator of Omi, said in a tweet, "Our goal is to read the mind completely. We know that it is hard and ambitious, so we have started with the simplest and useful use: Device Activation"

Price and availability

Omi is priced at $ 89 (about ₹ 7,400). An additional shipping fee of $ 10 (about ₹ 830) will have to be paid for ordering in India. This device is available for pre-order on the company’s official website.

This device is currently designed to read basic neural signals. But the company plans that in the coming time, this technology should understand and process brain data even more deeply.
