Bezos, the world’s third richest billionaire ranked by Forbes, and American journalist Lauren Sanchez will tie the knot in Venice later this month.

The wedding will last over three days, likely between June 26 and 28, and is estimated to cost between $15 million and $20 million. It will be attended by around 200 guests, including members of the Trump family, Katy Perry, Oprah Winfrey, and Kim Kardashian, according to CNN.

In an effort to showcase Venice’s traditions, Bezos sourced 80% of his wedding supplies from local vendors.

Antonio Rosa Salva, the sixth-generation owner of the bakery, expressed that the wedding order, which includes a selection of cookies for goody bags, is an important recognition of his family’s long-standing tradition of baking Venetian specialties, AP reported.

This family-run business dates back nearly 150 years.

The bakery’s specialties include the bussolà, a buttery biscuit once favored by fishermen, and small zaletti cookies made from cornmeal, flavored with raisins and lemon zest.

For both locals and visitors, Rosa Salva is much more than a bakery; it is an essential part of the Venice experience.

With several locations throughout the city, especially the main store near Piazza San Marco, Rosa Salva is easily accessible.

Despite evolving to meet modern needs, Rosa Salva retains its ancient, luxurious, and cozy ambiance with marble tables and sparkling glass pastry displays.

In addition to its pastries, Rosa Salva is known for its light savory dishes, perfect for a quick breakfast or lunch.

Tramezzini, a triangular sandwich with various fillings such as cold cuts, cheese, eggs, and lettuce, are a favorite among both locals and visitors. Cicchetti, Venetian-style tapas, and ice cream are especially popular with families.
