Diljit Dosanjhs upcoming film Sardaar Ji 3 has been embroiled in controversies ever since the makers went ahead with casting Pakistani actress Hania Aamir. The singer-turned-actor had to face massive backlash. As a result the makers of Sardaar Ji 3 decided not to release the film in India but overseas. Amid the ongoing controversy Rakhi Sawant who shares a cordial bond with Hania Aamir came out in support of Diljit and his film. Rakhi Supports Diljit Dosanjh Hania Aamir’s Sardaar Ji 3 Taking to social media platform Instagram Rakhi posted a short video clip featuring both Diljit and Hania from their movie. Rakhi expressed her excitement and praised Hania for stepping into Bollywood. She wrote “Congratulations my sweetheart Hania Aamir. I’m so happy. Finally you are in Bollywood films. Congratulations Diljit Sardaar Ji 3.” In another post Rakhi also urged people outside the country to watch the film and support Hania for her big debut. She said “Everyone should watch this movie. Sardaar Ji 3—Hania Aamir she’s making her debut. Everyone should appreciate her. She’s my favourite. All the best. Congratulations Hania. However when Diljit Dosanjh’s Sardaar Ji 3 trailer came out and fans discovered that Hania was still in the film it created a huge uproar. Several Indian film industry bodies including the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) and the All Indian Cine Workers Association (AICWA) objected to her casting. They argued that involving a Pakistani actor is insensitive to national sentiments and have even demanded a ban on Diljit Dosanjh and his upcoming projects in India.
