Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla created history, the first Indian to reach ISS

Indian Air Force Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla successfully created a new history in the world of space and successfully International Space Station (ISS) Step on. As soon as his spacecraft reached the station, a wave of pride and enthusiasm ran throughout the country. He is the first Indian to achieve this feat.

Towards space at a speed of 28,000 km/h

Shubhanshu Shukla and his team’s spacecraft were traveling at a speed of 28,000 km per hour 418 km above the Earth’s surface. About 26 hours after launching, the vehicle successfully completed the docking process by reaching near the space station. The special thing is that this docking started 20 minutes before the scheduled time.

After docking, the process of complete entry into the space station took about 1 hour more. Shubhanshu Shukla filled the flight SpaceX Falcon 9 rockets with the US Kennedy Space Center (KSC), Florida.
