At this time, Deepika Padukone is also in the discussion about her upcoming films as well as her old love life. His ex boyfriend and actor Muzammil Ibrahim spoke openly about his relationship with Deepika in an interview recently. He said that even after the relationship was over, a friendly relationship between the two remained. Apart from this, Muzammil also shared about the beginning of his film career and a special experience.

Muzammil has made a distinct identity in modeling and acting. He made his film journey debut with filmmaker Pooja Bhatt’s film ‘Chame’. The film was released in 2007, when Ranbir Kapoor made his debut with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film ‘Sanwaria’, for which he also received the award. The same year Neil Nitin Mukesh was also making his debut with the film ‘Gaddar’.

“I was better than Ranbir”
In a conversation with Siddharth Kanan, Muzammil claimed that when Ranbir received an award on his debut, two big actors told him that he was actually entitled to the award. Muzammil said,
“I think Ranbir made his debut with ‘Sanwaria’ that year and Neil Nitin Mukesh ‘Johnny Gaddar’. Nana Patekar told me that I was entitled to all the awards. I also felt that I felt that I should have received the Best Debut Award for ‘Cheating’. I believe that I was better than Ranbir.”

When Shahrukh called the name
Muzammil also reported that he was not even invited to the award show, while Ranbir Kapoor was already called. He further said, “I felt very bad when Shah Rukh Khan called my name and said that I used to come on stage to take the award. I started crying then, this experience was very painful for me.”

Muzammil’s revelations highlight their struggle and the complexities of the film world.
